My first computer was an MSX<\/strong>, a great computer at the time with an incredible 16kb of RAM<\/strong>! It was where I started making my first games, mods and also working with hexadecimal code. I also did a lot of things related to graphics, music and sounds in addition to games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, most of my work has been lost over time, or must be hidden away on one of my old 5 1\/4 floppy disks. But the game Match Day II<\/strong> was a really important game for me, and I will keep it in my memory forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spent years trying to get it to run on a PC, until I got help from Ricardo<\/strong>, creator of the BrMSX<\/strong> emulator, to convert my old floppy disk into a DSK<\/strong> file so I could run it on his emulator. And luckily for me, it ran perfectly! The difficulty was actually running my version, and not the original game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was a fantastic soccer game at the time. Made for the MSX<\/strong> in 1987, it was one of my favorite games of all time. It was the first and only one to have a body game, where there is an excellent way to control the ball. It has backheel kicks, power control, low passes, strong passes, first-time passes, jump passes, lob passes and even header passes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, you could play not only against another player, but also cooperatively on the same team against the CPU. Its only weak point is that the goalkeeper could not hold the ball and could not leave the penalty area. But for the time, it was the best soccer game available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I did was edit the hexadecimal files several times for different types of games\/championships, so I added a menu where you choose which Championship you want to play, and when you select it, the game will change all 8 Teams<\/strong> (yes, the game only had 8 teams) according to your choice. You will always play with Flamengo<\/strong> or the Brazilian National Team<\/strong> if you choose the World Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
