This fantastic US band released under A Different Drum the remix album Reconnect with their best of remixes released on their singles, new remixes by T.O.Y. & The Echoing Green for exemple, and also with some new versions by Matt and the new member Andrew. The first track is the "Annie, Would I Lie To You (T.O.Y. Mix)", that was remixed by the german band T.O.Y.. It's a cool remix, but I thought that could have something else. So listening the CD at work I had an keyboard melody idea and when I reach at home I start to play keyboard with the remix playing, and aside that melody I create others that I like, and I decided to record anything for fun. I went to computer and add more 7 tracks to the remix, adding more synths, Effects, Drums and many new keyboards, giving a new life to the remix. That's why the remix was named as TOY & Hajas Mix, since the base was 100% made by T.O.Y., and I only upgraded his remix.

Anything was made in two nights. The first I wrote the new melodies and recorded/programmed all the remix. On the second night I done the mixing and the pre-mastering, render the song, generate the mp3, upload to my site and start the promotion via web.

I also post at EG's forums and I all loved the Upgrade that I made on the T.O.Y.'s remix, and all feedbacks were positive. This remix is NOT at Reconnect album, and was only made for my own fun, and probally will never be released.
