Aside I'm a big fan of !distain's work and this band be one of the first bands that I follow in the modern scene, I never had contact with them. But accross the production of my first remix album Synthphony REMIXed! vol.2 I was introduced to them by David Lin from the label to remix one of his songs, and soon became friends.

After the success of my remix to "Sex'n'Cross" which received many great feedback by the band and also fans saying that was one of the best in the album, I was invited by band/label again to join in a remix album full devoted to !distain, which made made me very proud and happy in be a part of it.

Had a survey to all the fans around the world choose all the tracks of the remix album. And after the end of survey and the tracks to be remixed be chose, David sent me the list to choose which track I want to remix. I chose "Remote Control" because was the first track from them that I heard (I loved!), and was that one that make me start to follow his work, aside of course have a sentimental connection with me.

Aside the far distance we worked side by side in each step of the production of the remix, and was a amazing experience to me that I'll never forget. We decided to not work upside the vocals, but make my instrumental version first, to add new vocals later, speacilly recorded to this version.

So after the basic instrumental version be finished, I sent to the band record the vocals. Then after received the vocals, I finished the remix and made a basic mixing to give an idea of how is going the remix to them, and since there we start to work almost together, chanding/adding things here and there (specially about vocals) until reach the perfect point to our ears.

The final result become really great, and they told me will be one of the highlights of the new remix album.
