2004

Opium Opium is an old band from Rússia, where started in 1987 under the name Cold Attitude and only in 1991 changed the name to Opium. Between all this time they also made many side projects with different musicians.

Until there all his songs were in russian. But Miroslav went to live in Israel and knew a great friend of mine Liav and started to make new songs in english.

And after few Demos, EPs and had songs released in few Compilations, they signed with A Different Drum where they will released his new album "Too Many Miles between Us".

It's a limited edition double CD, and the 2nd will only have remixes, and talking with my friend Liav he gave me the chance to remix one of his songs, and ask me to remix the song "Too Much To Handle" that I really loved since the first listen and finished my work in February.

Opium EP After finish the remix in so short period aside wasn't given any deadline, since even the original album was finished at that time. Sent to the band that loved my remix, and was considered one of the best remixes already made of his songs.

But Todd from ADD said that 2nd CD with remixes was already finished and mastered, and can't add my remix anymore, aside he also like it. And even the band knows about that. Todd ask me a copy and promised to release in a compilation soon as possible as an exclusive track by Opium.

So I was only waiting until Miroslav contacted me saying more good things about my remix and requesting the instrumental version to the vocalist Iliya play live at a DM party in Vladvostock

For the time my remix is playing at Slothradio, and don't have any date for a release, and I even know if will be really released. But I hope so!

"Thanks you very much for the remix on “Too much to handle”. I like it very much! I am sure it will help us to make first steps into a synthpop world. Singer Iliya likes your remix very much and want to use it to upcoming performance he will have soon from DM party in Vladivostok. My wife also like your mix very much"
