2004

Color Theory presents Depeche Mode Brian Hazard, the former of the band Color Theory made alone an excellent tribute album to Depeche Mode called Color Theory presents Depeche Mode.

Brian is so certain of the quality of his work that created a garantee that if you don't like the CD, you could ask for your money back, saying that all Depeche Mode's fans will like too, and he is absolutely right.

Aside the great album, also happens a Remix Contest to remix his covers, which the winners are having his remixes available at the site to who bought the CD, and was where I entered and was one of the 12 selected with my remix of "Sweetest Perfection".

Brian Hazard All remixes until now are from very good to excellent, and was an honor be one of the chosen, mainly for the overall quality of all work involved, and also for the opportunity to remix songs from one of the most important bands in the world.

My remix will be available after July of 2004 at Color Theory presents Depeche Mode site in a restricted area available to who bought the CD only. All are mastered with high quality.

Brian said that will be a little difficult to release the remixes in CD since will need to pay the rights for this, but think to release in the future depending of the sells, etc.

I'm waiting for the release of my remix in his site.

"Wow Freddy! This is amazing! Maybe I am biased because you are working with my vocals, but I think this is the best remix I've heard from you yet! I'm not sure why, but even the overall recording quality sounds better to me. It sounds more "pro". The levels are all great, and I love what you've done with the chord progression. And you moved it to 4/4 time from 12/8 time very smoothly. I actually thought of doing that myself when I recorded it! Really cool stuff! Awesome! Perfect!"
